Blog or not?

I was surprised to see my abandoned blog appear when I googled myself. As a freelance writer, the "time is money" saying dictactes my schedule. A blog didn't seem practical, surely there were more pressing assignments that warranted my time, more creative projects that deserved my energy?

Now, before I snub a growing field or discount individual bloggers, I acknowledge the merits of a blog in how it allows an individual to broadcast. An easy-to-use medium that enables someone to share his or her thoughts with a large audience, even better if those thoughts are somewhat interesting. Daily rantings are better suited for a personal diary.

So, I hope to revive this blog to be able to share my edible adventures and encourage others to have their own.
